Lido Water Park

Lido Water Park‚ located about 25 km from Kos Town‚ is considered one of the largest and most enjoyable water parks in Greece‚ spanning around 75‚000 square meters. The park features a wide range of high‑speed slides‚ a wave pool‚ lazy river‚ relaxation pools‚ Jacuzzis‚ and a large‚ well‑designed kids’ area with smaller slides‚ tipping buckets‚ and water games. On site‚ you will also find restaurants‚ cafés‚ bars‚ sports facilities‚ sunshades‚ and loungers‚ making it suitable for all ages.

Thermal springs

Kos’s healing hot springs are located at Therma Beach‚ about 13 km from Kos Town‚ and are among the island’s most unique natural sites. Here‚ mineral‑rich hot springs containing sulphur‚ calcium‚ and magnesium bubble up into a small natural pool on the shoreline‚ where the hot water mixes with the cooler sea. Soaking in the hot pool‚ with the dark sand and volcanic landscape in the background‚ is considered a relaxing experience with various benefits for skin and joints. The springs can get very hot (up to about 42 degrees)‚ so it is best to enter gradually and alternate between the hot water and the cooler sea.

Kefalos village

Kefalos is a charming village at the western tip of Kos‚ built on a hill overlooking a deep‑blue bay and the little church on the nearby islet of Kastri. The village is divided into two parts: the upper section‚ a typical Greek settlement with narrow lanes‚ whitewashed houses‚ and a central square with a windmill; and the lower‚ seafront strip‚ where you will find tavernas‚ cafés‚ and hotels. Around Kefalos‚ you can enjoy beautiful beaches with clear water and water sports‚ and from here you can take short trips to Kastri island as well as visit local caves and archaeological sites. Be sure to try the village’s fresh fish dishes and desserts based on local honey – they already have quite the reputation across Greece.
