Book Flight

Welcome to the Bluebird Airways flight departing from Terminal 3 in Tel Aviv to Budapest – the capital of Hungary and the beautiful Queen of the Danube. The city connects Buda‚ the seat of the aristocracy and government‚ with bohemian Pest‚ via the famous Chain Bridge; a place where art‚ markets‚ commerce‚ and entertainment meet.

Budapest offers its visitors museums‚ palaces‚ hot springs‚ and medicinal baths‚ alongside breathtaking views of the bridges illuminated at night. You will find a rich classical culture‚ a wonderful shopping experience‚ and vibrant nightlife. The city is also home to a magnificent Jewish community with roots dating back to the Roman Empire. In memory of half of the community that perished in the Holocaust‚ the unique Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial stands as an eternal testimony to a dark chapter in history.

With a European climate offering a hot summer‚ a pleasant and blossoming spring‚ and a white‚ cold winter – Budapest is perfect for a visit all year round.

Buda

After crossing the Széchenyi Chain Bridge‚ it is highly recommended to visit Castle Hill. You should start at Buda Castle (Budavári Palota)‚ the historic royal palace of the Hungarian kings and an architectural masterpiece. Enter the fascinating labyrinth and stroll through the picturesque alleys of the Castle District and its manicured gardens. This area is perfect for photos from every angle and is suitable for all ages.
Also in the area is the Fisherman's Bastion (Halászbástya) complex‚ featuring a Neo-Gothic style with seven turrets that give it a fairytale appearance. From there‚ you can overlook the Parliament building‚ the bridge‚ and the Danube. Nearby is Matthias Church‚ a Catholic church considered one of the most impressive structures in Budapest.

Pest

Is located in the heart of the city‚ offering a blend of old and new with a rich history. Here you will find the Great Synagogue on Dohány Street‚ a memorial garden for Holocaust victims‚ and the Hungarian Jewish Museum. The area offers Hungarian-Jewish cuisine and kosher restaurants alongside a vibrant nightlife center with bars‚ cafes‚ and entertainment venues.

Váci Utca

The city's largest and most famous shopping and leisure pedestrian street. International fashion chains are concentrated mainly in the northern part‚ alongside restaurants and cafes. The southern part features local shops and Hungarian restaurants serving authentic dishes. At the end of the street lies the massive Central Market Hall‚ a gastronomic experience for any food lover‚ featuring food stalls‚ spice shops‚ and vendors selling high-quality food products.
