Pregnant Women

Up to the end of the 26th week of pregnancy‚ a pregnant woman can freely travel on Bluebird aircraft without any gynecologist’s or doctor’s certificate. Women with complicated pregnancies or expecting twins‚ triplets‚ etc‚ should always contact Bluebird Ground Operations Department before travel.

From the end of the 26th up to 32nd week a medical certificate confirming the expected date of delivery must be obtained. The medical permission must be displayed at the time of booking‚ yet an updated document must be acquired seven (7) days before the forthcoming flights carry and presenting it at the registration point.


The doctor’s medical certificate should include the following:

  • Confirmation that a pregnancy is progressing without complications
  • The expected due date
  • The doctor’s statement that the patience’s pregnancy does not prevent her from flying the dates (Depar­ture/ Return) for the flights indicated on the ticket.


Caution Note: Expectant mother beyond the 32nd week of pregnancy is not be permitted to fly un­der any circumstances so due care should be taken when booking the flight ticket
